5 Ideal Revision Spots in Manchester

Exam season is fast approaching and whether you’re cramming or you’re just ticking off another day on your revision timetable, finding the right place to revise is essential.

We’ve pulled together a list of ideal revision places in Manchester to help you get that first you desperately need to prove you haven’t just spent the last 3 years getting bladdered and watching Netflix 😉

#1 HOME MCR: For the wordsmith

Located on First Street, HOME is great for getting your head down. It’s well lit (as in bright, not 🔥) and they do great coffee so you’ll be able to stay focussed awake. If the weather’s right, you might be able to get out on the rooftop terrace.

It's a scorcher isn't it? Make the most of the glorious sunshine up on our roof terrace. . . #Manchester #RoofTerrace #BritishSummer

When you’ve finished your revision, you can get student cinema tickets at an alarmingly cheap price. Reward yourself to motivate yourself.

#2 Footage: For the crammer

Get to Footage for the perfect balance of revision and skiving. They’ve got fast WiFi and cheap food & drink if you’re using the FRESHR App. You can also have a few games of pool in revision breaks to help you unwind. They have music on all day so if you’re not into that keep reading ⬇

Across the road from MMU, Footage is a great backup if there’s no seats in the library.

#3 Central Library: For the sightseer

The perfect venue for a game of Bogeys (we don’t condone this), Manchester’s Central Library can almost guarantee no distractions.

There’s about 70 posts of Central Library every week on Instagram so even if you don’t want to revise here, we recommend checking this place out anyway.

#4 eXchange Lounge: For the contemporary

eXchange Lounge is another great place to revise. Amazingly decorated, and host to quite a few business-y folks staying nearby, your revision juices will be flowing to make sure you get that all important 70%. Or 60%. Or 40%.

Never heard of eXchange before? You can find us at 102 Portland street. We are the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day in work or a hard afternoon hitting the shops. Come and find us and see for yourself! 👍Thank you @debi.keable for sharing your amazing picture! #manchester #manchesterbar #manchesterbars #manchesterfood #manchestercity #manchestercitycentre #exchange #exchangefoodanddrinklounge #foodanddrink #portlandstreet #manchesternightlife #manchesterrestaurants #manchesterrestaurant #manc #exchangebar #followus #wednesday #wednesdaynight #manchesterfoodie #manchesterdrinks #manchestervenue #manchestergram #manchesterlife #manchesteroxfordroad #manchesterpiccadilly #bars #restaurant #restaurants #bar #itsmanchester
